Pizo Meyer grew up in Webster, TX and began drawing cartoon advertisements for the Clear Creek High School newspaper. After graduating, he joined the Navy and began drawing gag cartoons on the USS Ranger's daily flight plan by request of the Air Boss. Once he left the service, he began working on his own strip called SICKNESS & IN HEALTH which was released in several issues of Roman Dirge's XENOPHOBE series in San Diego, California. After relocating back to Houston, he developed and created a new comic called SEED which previously had a limited release with Ghostfish Publishing. Pulp 21 has recently republished SEED with special packaging and in a larger format that contains a new narration by Chet Presley.  In addition, it includes interviews, original sketches, and panels. Pizo is currently collaborating with James Roberts and working on a new stand alone series called DOMINE for Pulp 21.
